Rosalyn Rough, BSc, MSc (Hons), is a graduate from Massey University and Auckland University, New Zealand. She is employed as a forensic senior scientist at ESR, New Zealand’s primary provider of forensic services to the New Zealand Police. Ms. Rough has over 20 years of professional experience in crime scene examination, body fluid identification, and BPA. Since 2014, she has been involved in basic and advanced BPA training as well as serving as the co-instructor of ESR’s fluid dynamics of bloodstain formation course. Since 2018, Ms. Rough has also been involved in BPA research with a particular focus on quantitative analysis of bloodstain patterns.
