The Dahiel Rahn Memorial Grant for 2017 was awarded, this year, to a team of two Forensic Science students.
Kylie Wilson and Miranda McCune are both students at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. They are currently working on obtaining a Master of Science in Forensic Science and Law (expected May 2019).
Their research includes studies on:
- Effects of Bloodstains on stain-resistant paint and
- BPA on Fabrics sprayed with stain resistant sprays (like Scotchguard)
Their research was presented at the 2018 IABPA Annual Conference in Ottawa, Canada.
